‘Going Global’ District Camp September 2023 (15th -17th) Book now!
We are delighted to share our plans for an exciting All Sections District Camp to be held on the weekend of 15th – 17th September 2023.
During the weekend we will be ‘Going Global’ and travelling around the world visiting bases of an international theme where you’ll take part in activities, festivals, games, skills and food from around the globe. As well as having fun, the young people will get the chance to try out and experience things from different countries and cultures. We will also be inviting our Jamboree participants to share some of their experiences with us. At each base, there will be a range of activities to suit all sections.
On Saturday evening we will come together for an evening meal and a film evening. This meal will be prepared centrally so that the leaders can have a rest after their busy day of jet setting.
Upon booking, each group will be allocated a country. You are all encouraged to decorate your site in that theme and also prepare a show n’ tell activity/dish so that groups visit and learn jamboree style. You will also represent that country in the Going Global Olympics on Sunday.
The camp will close on Sunday with award and medal presentations.
Please help us by getting your booking in as soon as possible…. please complete the booking form and email it back to Cliff as quickly as possible… precise details aren’t needed right now, but we need to start planning and organising and you can really help by responding as quickly as you possibly can.
