Squirrels

What’s the best thing about Squirrel Scouts?

Squirrels are the newest and youngest section of the Scout family. They usually meet for about an hour each week and take part in fun, energetic activities that help them learn new skills and make new friends.

Squirrels are for children aged 4 to 6 years old. Through games, storytelling, crafts, and short adventures, Squirrels are introduced to teamwork, confidence-building, and kindness – all while having lots of fun!

It’s the perfect way to start their Scouting journey and get a taste of the great experiences that lie ahead.

Squirrel Scouts like:

  • Playing and learning through fun activities
  • Listening to and telling stories
  • Getting messy with arts and crafts
  • Spending time outdoors
  • Making new friends and working together
  • Learning about their community and how to help others
  • Taking part in simple challenges and earning badges
  • Using their imagination to explore new ideas
